Finally a win

It had been 7 matches till today morning, and our track record was flawless, we had ensured that we lost every match. A less determined group would not have been able to achieve the amazing feats we did. One match we had to score 50 from the last 9 overs with 9 wickets in hand, in another we tied a game where the opposition needed 62 off the last 6 overs. The pedants may want to scream and point out right now that a tie is not a loss, but in the tournament we played if the scores were tied the criteria would be to check the wickets and they had lost fewer wickets, so for all the pedants who wanted to rub this in, "SHUT IT".
But finally today we played against a team which was the weakest of all, basically a punching bag if you will. And boy did we need this victory! And it was a convincing one as well, so finally the 7 match marathon drought has ended. I would have to modestly point out at this point that I was the highest scorer in the match and most of my boundaries came through point. Get the point? ;)
I know this is not one of my usual kinda posts, but hell, I'm just relieved that we won and wanted to brag about my feat.
